Metalloglobus Fémöntő Kft. completed its production expansion capacity in 2021, within the framework of which a new, high-capacity, computer-controlled wire production equipment meeting the needs of the age started operation at our company. On this production line, we can produce lead wires of different composition and diameters for our partners efficiently, quickly and in good quality.

Our goal is to become a modern, state of the art plant and to create a working environment that is an attractive alternative for today's employees as well. To do this, we had to reduce the heavy physical work, which occurs primarily when loading the melting cauldrons and removing the finished spindles. For this reason, the company purchased a FANUC R2000ic six-axis industrial robot and built a robot cell for it. For this investment, we won HUF 28,046,757 (Application document) in tender number VEKOP-1.2.6-20. The total budget of the project was HUF 40,066,796, which, in addition to the construction of the robot cell, also includes the modernization of the production hall – in which the doors and windows were replaced, insulation was created, the roof was transformed and the plant unit received a new industrial floor.

"Lajos", as our colleagues call our new robot colleague, started working for us in October. With its optical sensors, it assesses the location of lead blocks, raises them to the required height and loads the metal into the melting cauldron.

To make production even more efficient, we invested in a manipulator that can easily move the finished spindles from the machine to the box or pallet.

With these investments, our company has embarked on the path of modernization and implementing state of the art technology. In our new hall we produce in a modern environment, where our employees are also happy to come in.
