Casting

Our company has significant capacity for the production of tin and lead alloys. Taking into account work and environmental aspects, we have transformed the casting production area where our gas-heated cauldrons are located.

In our cauldrons, depending on the composition of the material, we can melt 3000 – 5000 kg of metal at a time. The cauldronss are heated to 450 – 500 °C and the molten material is poured into ingot moulds of the size required for later work stages or customer requirements. Our castings are sent to our production as semi-finished products or to our customers as finished products. The chemical composition of the melted baths is also tested in our laboratory.

We have alos have furnaces that can be heated to even higher temperatures and graphite pots suitable for smaller melting.

IN OUR FOUNDRY WE PRODUCE THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS:

  • Soldering tin alloy blocks for powder production
  • Production of various soft solder alloys
  • Production of tin-lead alloys for subsequent processing or moulding
  • Bearing (white metal) metal alloys
  • Solder alloy bars
  • Lead castings of various shapes and chemical compositions (e.g., radiation protection crucibles or window weights)
  • Casting keels and counterweights

We undertake the implementation of more complex and difficult projects. In the course of this, we can produce specially machined lead castings with the involvement of partners with cutting and painting capacities.
