Low melting metals

alacsony olvadaspontu femek

In our foundry, we undertake the production of various tin- and lead-based alloys and raw materials, from the assembly of the components of the material through the quality control of the material to casting.

Low melting point metals are typically metal alloys melting below 200 °C (this includes both eutectic and non-eutectic alloys). In the case of alloys, the low melting point is achieved with a high bismuth content, lead, tin, zinc and rare metals are usually added as alloys.

Due to the low melting point and excellent flow, the area of use of metals is more versatile than in the case of conventional tin-lead alloys:

  • Low melting point soldering
  • Safety heat releases
  • Insulation for radiation therapies
  •  Pipe bending processes
  • Lens blockers
  • Modelling, casting figures
  • Works of art
  • Mercury substitution in certain areas
